21/10/2008. - 31/01/2009. Museum of Transportation
The exhibition under the title “Pigeon-hearted Tin Lizzie − The Hundred Year Old T-Model” offers a dozen of old cars produced by Ford in the Museum of Transportation. Visitors are introduced into the production and history of the T-Model in the centenary exhibition by photographies and explanatory texts.
The exhibition presents twelve cars altogether: in addition to the classic T-Model, there is − among others − a 1922 Ford T Touring, a 1926 Ford truck, a 1939 Eifel Cabriolet and several Ford A-Models. By reading through the panels of the exhibition visitors can gain insight into the role of Hungarians in the auto industry, such as the lives of engineers József Galamb and Jenő Farkas, who participated in the design and production of the popular Tin Lizzie.
