Saint Anne Church
This church with its two towers, located on Batthyány Square, is one of the city’s most significant baroque historic monuments. Work on it was started in 1740, but it was only consecrated in 1805.
The church was extensively damaged during World War II, its main gate was completely destroyed – however it was later restored.
