Vajdahunyad Castle
Vajdahunyad Castle is the best known of the group of historic buildings which were erected in 1896 to commemorate the one-thousand-year anniversary of the founding of Hungary.
The buildings were based on plans prepared by Ignác Alpár, whose purpose was – by reproducing portions of existing buildings – to display the principal Hungarian architectural styles.
Amongst the Baroque group of buildings can be found The Agricultural Museum.
