Holy Trinity Column
The Column, which stands in the middle of Holy Trinity Square, was sculpted by Fülöp Ungleich and Antal Hörger between 1710 and 1713, in the Baroque style. The Column was commissioned by the citizens of Buda, in thanksgiving for having survived the plagues of 1691 and 1709.
The column in the Square is a replica; the original column, which was damaged in 1945, can now be found in the Kiscelli Museum.
